About The Trusted Traveller

The Trusted Traveller (TTT) began in 2014 because of my passion for travel and eagerness to help others plan their travels in the most prepared way possible.

My aim is to make travel planning simple and stress-free by providing visitors to my website with detailed travel planning advice, destination guides and a dash of inspiration.

TTT’s target audience is travellers of all ages and budgets who like to be organised when they travel. Some people like to plan as they go, but like me, readers of TTT want to have a plan before they leave home.

Whether its an experienced DIY traveller looking for some inspiration or a new traveller looking for a little more help planning their first trip, I’m confident visitors to TTT will find something that will cater to their travel planning and inspiration needs.

To plan their trips, visitors to The Trusted Traveller can read detailed itineraries, country guides, lists of the key things to see and do, reviews of accommodation, tours and attractions from my experiences and get a dash of inspiration from my photos and best of articles.

Travel has been in my blood since birth. My dad, who is my travel inspiration, would plan elaborate family road trips to lots of places around Australia when I was a kid. Every school holidays we went somewhere new, like the time we drove to Adelaide or the trip up north to sunny Queensland, there were many adventures in my childhood.

As an adult, my zest for travel really took hold. I’ve visited 30 odd countries in the last 10 years, including highlights like two years living in London and travelling Europe, six months slowly driving along the southern coast of Australia from Sydney to Perth and a month backpacking around Western Canada.

And even now, I have no plans on slowing down. Currently I am working towards location independence, so I can live a more balanced lifestyle spend more time with my family and continue to share my travel experiences and planning advice with the world.
