We are passionate about this city and all it has to offer. Whether you’re in Sydney for a day or a month, the Sydney expert website will provide you with lots of ways to get off the beaten track and see more than the average visitor.
The site is our baby, and we are very proud of what we have put together. We have built trust with our audiences by providing actionable information that works and is backed up by social proof in our user community.
What will you find on the Sydney Expert website?
We like to help people create a roadmap for their holiday in Sydney, not a literal roadmap, but more an outline of what they can do and see in the time they have. To do this we share detailed information on activities and attractions on offer in Sydney. We love designing on walking routes and highlighting lesson known parts of the city. We encourage the use of public transport with posts like How to Explore Eastside Sydney on the 311 Bus which encourages people to leave the harbour for a few hours and explore the areas of Sydney like Potts Point and Woolloomooloo or our Self-guided walk through Newtown which highlights street art and dining opportunities in this inner west. We believe when you explore like this and get a little of the main road you have more opportunity to interact with locals and get to know the city better.
We are really passionate about creating local connections. Paula is a co-founder of Sydney Greeters the local branch of the Global Greeter organisation. Together we regularly greet visitors to Sydney and spend a few hours showing them some of our favourite parts of the city. These connections are a big part of what we love about travel and they also give us real and regular insight into things visitors need to know.
We provide a supportive online community where our readers can reach out and speak to us which also helps build trust. Why not come over and say hi to in friendly Facebook group it’s a great place to run your ideas by some locals or get advice and up-to-date tips to help you have a fantastic time here
